Hello from Canada! How are you? My name is Sharon and I'm a student learning about becoming a teacher who will teach English! I like it so far. I live in a house with my brother and his family. I take care of my two nieces (brother's daughters) during the day while their parents work. It is lots of fun but very busy. Some of my hobbies are: reading, photography, walking, and spending time with my friends (I especially like going out for coffee with my friends). What are some of your hobbies? The reason I want to teach English is to help other people. I really like different cultures and languages from around the world. I have travelled to many different places (like Egypt, Jordan, Thailand, and France). I've always liked teaching. Why are you learning English? My favourite time of year here in Canada is Fall (or it's also called Autumn) because the trees turn different colours. I love the sound of leaves crunching under my feet when I go on walks. I also like Winter. I really like snow but I live in a part of Canada that doesn't get much snow. I only see snow on the mountains. But I don't like the cold! How about you? What is your favourite time of year?

Hello, its me. I am so sorry of my late, it's because the last day before the holiday I did not at school and I do not know how to make everything correct. My name is Suzhou Girl and I am a student in high school, in SIP. I live with my parents and I have a young brother, he just only 3 years old. When I become a sister, I was very worry because I do not know how to take care a baby, but now I can do it very well. I also have another brother, he was 4 years older than me, and he come back from America this holiday, we spent the really nice day together. I am thinking about where can I go when I graduate. I want to go to Canada, England and Australia, and I like England best. Today is Chinese Festival if Lanterns, we always stay with family and eat the rice dumpling, but today is also the first day of school. I went to Canada last summer, and I have a really good time in Victoria because I meet a lot of friends. Suzhou is my hometown and I think it's picturesque. Do you have a good time go learning to be a good teacher?

It was so nice hearing from you. Did you have a nice holiday? The Chinese Festival of Lanterns sounds like a lot of fun! What is rice dumpling like? Do you have any other favourite foods? I enjoy different food from around the world. I really like curry and rice noodles :) I also really like to eat chocolate.
How is high school going? What is your best subject? When I was in high school I enjoyed my English class (the studying of poetry, novels, and writing).
It's great that you are a big sister. It must be fun having a younger brother around. He must like having you play with him. I was excited to hear that you have travelled to Canada before! I've only been to Victoria once. It's a beautiful city.
When do you graduate? You must be excited that you get to go to another country. Will you study there? I've been to England and I've also lived in Australia for 8 years. If you come back to Canada maybe you can visit me :) It sounds like your hometown is beautiful.
My hometown is called Langley. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains! I enjoy living here. I like learning about being a teacher. It's lots of fun but also hard work. I have to make sure I get my homework done on time! Thank you for writing me. I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

I was so happy to hearing from you. Couple days before is White Valentine's Day, do you get some chocolates? I have got some blue roses, I was so happy about this. My birthday is coming soon and after my birthday, it will be the Tomb-sweeping Day and I will have the holiday. This year, I want to join the School Yunnan Trip, but sadly, I do not know If school can allow me to go there. Yunnan is also a beautiful place in China, They have the good culture and beautiful view. I want to have a baby dog, but my parents do not want because most of time I live in school, so no one can take care of it. I felt so sad. I also have a lot of projects need to do at school, study is difficult, right? I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

It was really nice hearing from you again. I've never heard of White Valentine's Day. We have Valentine's Day which is on February 14. Chocolate is one of my favourite things to eat ;) Blue roses sound very pretty. It's exciting to hear that it's your birthday soon. How old are you going to be? Will you have a party with your friends? It sounds like you have lots of holidays where you are. What is Tomb-Sweeping Day? Yunnan sounds really pretty. Maybe next year you can go on the trip. Right now, it's Spring time in my part of Canada. The trees are changing colours and have flowers on them. The weather is getting warmer which is really nice. I'm busy with school too. I have a few projects that are due in the next month and a bit. I hope you'll do well in your studies. I use to have a dog when I was younger. I really like dogs but dogs are a lot of work to take care of. So maybe it's wise that your parents don't want you to have one. :-) Thank you for writing and hope to hear from you soon.
